Regarding the Las Vegas racketeering activities of mortgage fraud and predatory lending, D R Horton
Division President James Frasure was the manager to Richard Knobloch, Daniel Callihan, Annie Schankin, Debra Martinez, Jeff Ward, Michael Mason and Troy Collins. Knobloch’s license has been suspended after Nevada’s Real Estate Division finding of wrongdoing. Callihan and D R Horton Inc. have been found
guilty of fraud and deceptive business practices and ordered to pay $54,000. Schankin was disassociated from D R Horton a month after being
caught in fraud. DHI Mortgage, Martinez and Ward have been found
guilty of deceptive trade practices and ordered to pay over $300,000. Frasure himself has had disciplinary actions taken against him by Nevada’s Real Estate Division and ordered to pay $10,000. Mason and Collins have been implicated in other frauds. Dozens of D R Horton victims have already been found in Las Vegas and neighboring Henderson. Hundreds of victims are projected to be discovered now that the Deputy Commissioner of Mortgage Lending has been replaced………….a month after she had claimed that DHI Mortgage, licensed with her division, was not subject to its regulation.
